The No. 1 ranked Oregon Ducks softball team (44-5) hosted the Utah Valley Wolverines (14-36) in a nonconference double-header at Howe Field in Eugene, Oregon on April 29. The Ducks swept the Wolverines 2-0 while only allowing four runs and scoring 13. The first game ended after the closing of the fifth inning 8-0 because of the run-rule. During the second game, the Ducks played a full seven innings and finished out the doubleheader with a 5-4 win.
Next for the Ducks is a home series against Arizona State with the first game on Friday, May 2 at 5 p.m. at Howe Field.
