Colt Lyerla arrested in Washington County for suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants

Former Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla was arrested Saturday morning at 2 a.m. in Washington County on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, according to The Oregonian.

The 21-year-old would be released at 8:37. The report on his arrest is not yet available, but it is suspected that Lyerla was either high on illegal drugs or prescription medication when he was pulled over.

Lyerla had recently been granted an injury settlement from the Green Bay Packers after injuring ligaments in his left knee Aug. 2 during training camp.

His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 17.
