Hundreds of people packed into McKnight Hall Thursday evening for Campus Activity Board’s (CAB) annual Fall Talent Show.

The crowd was pumped for the variety of talent ranging from music to magic. This was the first time a magician preformed in one of UNC Charlotte’s talent shows.

There were a number of musical acts including a chorus singing “Love on Top” by Beyoncé, and an acoustic guitarist singing “Mama’s Broken Heart” by Miranda Lambert. There were also a few original raps and poems.

Dance group THT Gold preformed an act which they called “Pop Vanguard” created to show how much impact Pop Culture has on our society.

Some of the music and poetry got pretty deep, but host Dontonius “Toni” Linsdey kept it light and funny.

Violinist Briana Reed won first prize. She played a violin rendition of “Apologize” by One Republic. Second and third place winners were Kenneth Willis and Tyler Wilkins. The first prize was $300, $200 for second, and $100 for third.
