Oregon football drops out of top 10, fall to No. 12 in latest AP Poll

After a wild week in college football the national landscape has been shaken up in the week seven AP rankings.

Oregon fell to No. 12 after previously being No. 2 in the nation thanks to a rough showing against an unranked Arizona. The Ducks couldn’t ever get into a groove, losing 31-24.

The Wildcats were rewarded for their efforts with a huge jump to No. 10. Arizona State returned to the rankings at No. 20 after upsetting the Trojans on a last second hail mary, while Utah found themselves in the mix for the first time at No. 25 following its 30-28 win over UCLA.

It was a rough weekend for the rest of the Pac-12. The Bruins fell to No. 18, Stanford dropped to No. 25 and USC dropped out completely.

Florida State remained at No. 1 with 1,461 total points while Auburn bumped up right behind them with 1,459 points. A strange occurrence happened at No. 3 with two teams, Mississippi State and Mississippi, tying for the spot with 1320 points.
