After a 30-28 loss to Utah Saturday night, UCLA tumbled down all the way from No. 8 to No. 18 in the AP rankings.

The coaches’ poll was not as friendly either, dropping the Bruins (4-1) from No. 9 to No. 17.

UCLA’s next opponent, Oregon (4-1), who lost to Arizona 31-24, fell from No. 2 to No. 12 in the latest AP rankings. So next week’s once-blockbuster matchup between UCLA and Oregon, two previous top-10 teams, now seems better suited for a Netflix original: UCLA and Oregon, both coming off losses.

Meanwhile, Arizona (5-0) Olympic long jumped from unranked to No. 10 in the AP poll, making the largest jump in the poll since it expanded to 25 teams in 1989. Arizona is now the Pac-12’s highest ranked team and the conference’s lone undefeated. UCLA plays Arizona Nov. 1 at the Rose Bowl in its homecoming game.

Elsewhere around the conference, Arizona State moved into the rankings at No. 20, as did Utah at No. 24.

Stanford, who lost at Notre Dame, fell to No. 25.

USC, who lost to Arizona State, went from No. 16 to unranked.
