UCLA football drops out of AP poll, now unranked

It’s official: UCLA football, once ranked No. 7 to start the season, is now unranked in AP Poll.

The drop comes after the Bruins lost to the then-No.12 Oregon Ducks 42-30 at home. Two weeks ago, the Bruins were No. 8, but two straight losses have derailed UCLA’s season hopes.

Prior to Sunday, the Bruins (4-2) had made 24-week consecutive appearances in the polls, previously the eighth-longest active streak in the country.

UCLA also dropped out of the USA Today coaches’ poll.

Meanwhile six other Pac-12 teams were ranked: No. 9 Oregon, No. 16 Arizona, No. 17 Arizona State, No. 20 Utah, No. 22 USC and No. 23 Stanford.

Of the six, UCLA has yet to face Arizona (Nov. 1), USC (Nov. 22) and Stanford (Nov. 28).
