In the blazing heat of southeastern California, Steve Skler discovered his love for the didgeridoo at the Joshua Tree Didgeridoo Festival.
Skler, now a didgeridoo teacher, hosts monthly didgeridoo workshops and lessons in Minneapolis. He also performs and teaches with his wife, Johnna Morrow, at various events, including educational functions, sound healing events, funerals, festivals and jam sessions. This past year, the pair registered with the Community Programs in the Arts, an organization dedicated to bringing art into the community.
