UPDATE:

The body found on level two of the South Village Parking Deck was a 19-year-old male student.

After the student’s family hadn’t heard from him for a consecutive number of days, they notified authorities. An investigation was then completed, where police searched the student’s dorm room in Hunt Hall. When he was not found in his room, police then searched each level of the South Village Parking Deck, where his car was reported to be.

Upon finding his body inside of his car, police reported that there was no evidence of foul play or malice. The body was then removed, and the car was towed.

The investigation has been turned over to CMPD.
