U. Oklahoma’s annual “Meet the Sooners Day,” an event held for fans to interact with football players and coaches, will be held August 6.

Gates will open at about 10 a.m. for OG&E Sooner Kids Club members and at about 10:30 a.m. for the general public.

The event will take place at the rugby practice fields just west of Lloyd Noble Center.

Attendees are allowed to bring one item per person to be autographed, with no exceptions.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Fans will not be able to sign up for the Sooner Kids Club on the day of the event, but new applications will be accepted July 1 to 30 and will resume Aug. 7.

The event is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
