Police are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying three teenagers who reportedly vandalized the Iowa City Public Library.

On April 25 between 4:50 p.m. and 4:53 p.m., the Public Library surveillance cameras captured three males in the alley spray-painting the outside of the building. The suspects appear to be white males in their early teens riding skateboards.

The colorful spray painting may read, “South East Side Crime Bang Bang,” according to a police press release.

The video of the suspects may be viewed on the city of Iowa City website. Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
