Junior Darnell Dodson won’t be playing for U. Kentucky in 2010-11, head coach John Calipari said through Facebook Sunday.

“I do want to let you all know that junior Darnell Dodson will not be playing for UK this season,” Calipari said on his Facebook page. “If Darnell, who is academically eligible, decides to return, he could practice with the team if he meets our standards.”

Dodson was one of five returning players from last year. He averaged 6.0 points in 14.5 minutes per game.
