Report: Four alleged victims intend to press charges in LSU bar fight

By Hunter Paniagua

Sgt. Don Stone of the Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed that the four people injured in the incident involving several LSU football players early Friday morning at Shady’s Bar have spoken with police investigators about pursuing charges against “those people responsible.”

Attorney Michael Bienvenu told TigerSportsDigest.com that he is representing all four men injured in the altercation, and they all intend to press charges.

Stone said BRPD has requested that four players — Jordan Jefferson, Jarvis Landry, Josh Johns and Chris Davenport — come in for questioning.

“They’re being asked to come in on a volunteer basis, not to be arrested, but to give their sides of the story,” Stone said.

The meeting had originally been scheduled for Monday morning, but Nathan Fisher, an attorney representing the four players, confirmed the meeting was postponed. Stone told multiple news outlets the meeting will occur Tuesday.

Fisher said he is in the process of meeting with clients and interviewing witnesses to learn more about the incident.

It has also been reported one of the alleged victims was kicked in the head during the altercation.
