Ducks win baseball season opener in Honolulu

The Ducks didn’t put up any crooked numbers but did keep the Rainbows at bay, limiting them to just five hits — four of which were singles.

Christian Jones picked up the save for the Ducks, which opted not to use superstar closer Jimmie Sherfy.

Oregon and Hawaii play again Saturday at 8:35 p.m. PST.
