Fan-favorite former quarterback Nate Costa will join the Oregon football staff. CSNW originally reported that Costa, who was never able to lead the Ducks from the signal-caller sport due to ongoing injuries, will come aboard as a Graduate Assistant. Costa had been a police officer in Springfield for a short time before his injuries caught up to him there as well. After a stint with television, he returns to help the skill positions for the Ducks.

Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors’ young phenom, was on fire against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden last night, scoring 54 points in a loss. Curry nailed 11 threes on 13 attempts, which was one short of an NBA record. The Warriors lost 109-105, while the Knicks’ Tyson Chandler had an astounding 28 rebounds along with 16 points.
