The Ducks have looked out of rhythm and fatigued after having one of their best regular seasons in recent memory, and nobody knows who’s to blame for the mess.

Heading into the Pac-12 tournament, the Ducks will now hold the No. 3 seed as opposed to the top seed. These past few days have not gone the way of the Ducks, but there is still a great chance for them to win out the upcoming conference tournament. The Ducks have for the most part been the best team in the Pac-12, and fans will just have to wait and see if this team can bounce back in time.

Jordan Hasay continues to shine. At the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Jordan Hasay and senior Alexi Pappas led the Ducks once again to another great performance. Finishing fourth in the 5,000 meters with a 15:40.30 time, Hasay set a new school record, while Pappas finished in sixth with a time of 15:47.13, which marked the third best time in school history. Both runners have continued to impress in this memorable season and nothing looks to be slowing them down.

Beth Maiman takes a closer look at another historical day for Hasay.

Mariano Rivera’s career is coming to a close. When you talk basketball, you think Michael Jordan. When you say best wide receiver, you think Jerry Rice. But when you mention closers, no one comes quicker to mind than Mariano Rivera. The 43-year-old pitcher recently announced his retirement in conclusion of the 2013 season, and it will mark one of the most memorable careers in MLB history.

To close the books on the best to ever do it, USA Today recently posted an article indicating that more people have walked on the moon (12) than batters have scored on Rivera in the postseason (11). Rivera has epitomized what it means to be a great closer in the game of baseball, and no one will miss him more than his striped-colored fans in New York.
