Zone Read AM: Ducks advance to semifinal of Pac-12 Tournament with OT win, not a warm welcoming for Raymond Felton in Portland

With a brilliant Pac-12 Tournament performance from senior Arsalan Kazemi in overtime, the Ducks were able to beat the Huskies, 80-77, to advance to the next round.

He scored nine-straight points in extra minutes, allowing the Ducks to go on a 9-2 run when it really counted.

Last night’s win was the third time Oregon has beat Washington this season.

In Friday’s semifinal round, Oregon will face tenth seed Utah at 8:30 p.m.

The women’s tennis team begins Pac-12 matches this weekend, facing both Washington and Washington State.

Heading into conference play, the Ducks are No. 55 and boast a 10-1 overall record.

Oregon will play the Huskies Friday at noon and the Cougars on Sunday. Both matches will be held at the Student Tennis Center.

The Register-Guard’s Rob Moseley recaps Oregon’s pro day that was held at the Moshofsky Center on Thursday.

The NFL scouts saw action from running back Kenjon Barner, offensive linemen Kyle Long and Ryan Clanton, as well as linebackers Kiko Alonso and Michael Clay. Both Dion Jordan and John Boyett were sidelined due to recovery from surgery.

Last night, Portland Trailblazers fans showed no love for the return of Raymond Felton, as Portland beat the Knicks 105-90. According to Joe Freeman of The Oregonian, the sold out crowd booed Felton in the pregame introductions and every time the guard touched the ball. However, it was Portland’s Damian Lillard who stole the spotlight, finishing with 26 points and 10 assists.
