The women’s lacrosse team hosts the No. 2 Florida Gators today at Papé Field.

The Gators are the highest-ranked opponent the Ducks have faced since playing top-ranked Northwestern last season.

The last time these two teams met was in the 2009-2010 season in Gainesville, Fla., with the Gators defeating the Ducks 16-6.

The Ducks enter today’s game on a four-game winning streak with an overall record of 4-1. Oregon’s only loss of the season was their home opener versus Dartmouth, where they lost in overtime 8-7.

Oregon senior Kate Cathell has proven to be a huge offensive threat for the Ducks, posting her third hat trick of the season last game against Davidson.

The first draw of today’s match is set for 1 p.m.
