Due to a clarification filed by ASUO Senator Ben Rudin, the ASUO Constitution Court has ruled that the ballot measures will be released Monday morning.

Rudin argues that despite the 2013 election results being invalidated by Con Court earlier this weekend, the ballot measures were not impacted by both campaigns bribing students to vote.

“If the evidence demonstrated that the United Oregon and Ducks for A Difference campaigns had plainly endorsed one ballot measure over another, the Court may have been inclined to disagree,” the court ordered.

The court agreed with Rudin and suggested that “it would be unfair and inequitable to require that they muster up the resources once again to support their cause.”

Because of this decision, the Elections Board is ordered to release and enforce only the 2013 spring ballot measure results.
