Minutes after Vice President of Student Affairs Robin Holmes reversed the ASUO Constitution Court’s ruling, the elections results were published, showing United Oregon and Dotters-Katz won the presidential election by 426 votes.

“It is an indescribable honor to announce that I have won the election,” Dotters-Katz said. “It has been one of the hardest journeys of my life, but deciding to do what was hard and what was right instead of what was easy has made all the difference.”

Vice President-elect Greg Mills thanked the staff and candidates who made the victory possible.

“I would also like to encourage everyone who may have run but did not win to still apply for positions and to keep working at it,” Mills said.

The United Oregon Executive slate, comprised of Dotters-Katz and the two Vice President-elects Mills and Azia Calderhead will begin their year-long term on May 25.
