Golf: Women Ducks drop to eighth place at NCAA Regionals

The University of Oregon women’s golf team shot a 13-over 297 in round two of play and currently hold the eighth spot in the pool of 24 teams.  Eight teams will advance to the NCAA finals in conclusion of the three-round tournament tomorrow afternoon. Currently leading all teams is No. 12 Purdue (291-286-577).

Leading the way once again was Cassy Isagawa (69-70-139), who shot an impressive 1-under 70 in round two of play. She moved up to second place in the individual standings and is playing at a very high level as she heads into the final round of play Saturday morning. Following her is freshman Caroline Inglis, who shot a par-71 to hold a tie for eighth place.

Leading the individual leaderboard is USC’s Annie Park (67-71-138), who continues to hold the top spot through two rounds of play. In third place is Paula Reto (71-69-140) of Purdue.
