Transportation to University of Oregon student Alex Rovello’s memorial service in Portland this Saturday is to be provided, the School of Journalism and Communication announced. The transportation is being coordinated by the SOJC and the athletic department.

Rovello, a junior journalism major and a Duck star tennis player, died on Saturday after a cliff diving accident.

The memorial is to be held at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Buses will depart from the Casanova Center at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday morning and return at approximately 5:30 p.m. the same day.

Seating is limited, and those interested are required to contact Salawati Garner at sgarner@uoregon.edu by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
