Investigative team: Editor in chief Sam Stites, a senior journalism major from Portland, will lead a special projects team that produces one major investigative story per term in print and online.

Creative agency: Andy Rossback, a senior journalism major from Coos Bay, will lead the Emerald’s new advertising agency. His team will help campus departments and small businesses connect with college students. Austin Powe, a junior from Yamhill, will be the agency’s creative director.

Photo booth: Alex Lianopoulos, a sophomore journalism major from Salem, will direct the Emerald Photo Booth. The photo booth started as an Emerald promotion this year. Next year, it will be available for Greek functions, parties, fundraisers and more.

Ducks GameDay: Ivar Vong, our professional mobile and web developer, is working with sports reporters and news editors to create a new social media experience for Oregon football fans. In print, we’re expanding our GameDay football section into a weekly magazine published from August to December with a special season-in-review edition in January.
