What can you expect from a Basin & Range show? “Livestock, broken glass, Justin Bieber throwing up and blankets. … You know, the usual night out in Eugene,” Schlea said.

“The Eugene scene is building and we’re just trying to keep it interesting,” Schlea added. “We just have fun at our shows and don’t take ourselves too seriously. In the end, it’s all about having a good time and playing music people can party to.”

Basin & Range take influence from artists such as STS9, Radiohead and Miike Snow. Last March, the group released their first full-length album: “Is My Sound Working?”

While playing shows throughout the Pacific Northwest, Basin & Range is currently recording the follow up to their first album and that release is due out on New Years Day 2013.
