Molalla High School senior and Oregon Ducks recruit Claire Thomas takes off running the girl's 4A 4x400 meter relay. Thomas, who helped win the state title in the event by taking her teammates from 6th to 1st after completing her 400 of the relay, also set two meet records in the girls 4A 100 meter hurdles and the girls 4A 300 meter hurdles. Thomas went on to be named 4A female Athlete of the Meet by scoring 32.5 points by herself , more than any other athlete in the entire OSAA Track and Field State Championships.
