Reports indicate that Thomas Tyner, Oregon’s freshman running back, was wheeled out of practice today. It appears that he received an injury to his left foot.
“To my knowledge he is 100 percent,” head coach Mark Helfrich told The Oregonian. “The protective boot business is a good business. I should have gotten into that business.”
Earlier today, Jason Quick, a senior writer for The Oregonian tweeted, “Oregon running back Thomas Tyner was just wheeled out of practice on a cart while wearing a boot on his left foot.”
Later Quick tweeted out this photo.
Tyner’s swift removal from the field isn’t cause for worry, and he was taken of the field more or less for precaution, according to SBNation.
