The Oregon Club of Portland will host Mark Helfrich at its Aug. 23 football kickoff at the Crystal Ballroom. The event is designed to give football fans a look at what they can expect from the Ducks on the gridiron before Oregon suits up against Nicholls State on Aug. 31.

The event consists of dinner and a presentation by Helfrich that includes a video preview of the 2013 Ducks. For children ages 6-12 the event costs $20. Adult members of the OCOP get in for $45 while non-member adults can attend for a fee of $55.

Those interested in attending must RSVP by Aug. 16.
