UH golf fans can see their team when the Cougars compete this morning at the HBU Husky Invitational at Riverbend Country Club.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will tee off with 36 holes before wrapping up with the final 18 holes on Tuesday on the 6,084-yard, par-72 course. The Cougars will square off against host Houston Baptist, Central Arkansas, Incarnate Word, Lamar, ULM, McLennan Community College, New Orleans, North Dakota, Oklahoma City, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and UT-Pan American.
This will be the Cougars’ third tournament this month. UH enters this week’s event after competing at the SDSU Farms Invitational in San Diego from March 24 to 26.
The lineup
Junior Courtney Ferguson, sophomore Raegan Bremer and freshman Emily Gilbreth will compete at this week’s event. Bremer leads the Cougars in scoring average and rounds of par or better this season.
