Outdoor recreation — specifically starting/running ski resort and setting up youth ski programs/outdoor recreation and being a leader in the national guard including being EMT and search and rescue
Why are you at the UO?
To learn the skills to be accomplished in a business environment in order to promote a balanced lifestyle while making connections to like minded people and striving for a balance between a healthy spiritual, physical, and mental life & learning how to be a leader in the national guard in order to positively affect people within the military and community (I study sports business, work at the rec and am actively involved/contracted with the ROTC)
How do you want to change the world?
I believe that being outdoors while exercising is a wonderful step to having a balanced happy life. I hope that I can both spread and promote this view while being a leader in our military and positively affecting the community by responding to relief and humanitarian efforts.
What has been the best part of your college experience?
Working at the rec center, meeting amazing people, furthering my passion of sports and recreation and having the opportunity to train apart of ROTC program.
What are some of your goals after you earn your degree?
I am so proud to be a duck and follow in the steps of so many influential people. I am also proud to have the opportunity to learn business and work in the ROTC program so that I may be a leader and be positively influential in both the civilian and military worlds. I plan on commissioning into the national guard, working for a ski resort or outdoor recreation company. I hope to be EMT certified and involved in search and rescue.
