Why are you at the UO?

I chose the UO because I wanted to stay in Oregon, and because the UO is the best public school in the state.

How do you want to change the world?

I want to help improve and expand the education that our country provides so that children from all economic classes will be able to go to school and find good jobs that will allow them to provide for themselves and their families.

What has been the best part of your college experience?

Buying my 12-0 shirt and attending the BCS Championship game watch party my freshman year.

What are some of your goals after you earn your degree?

I first want to get a job and get married to my best friend and girlfriend of six years Adriana Gonzalez, but someday — when I have more money and I’m not living on pizza delivery tips — I hope to return to school in order to obtain a graduate degree.

What clubs/organizations are you a part of on/off campus?

I am a part of the University of Oregon College Republicans, the Navigators Bible study group and I also work at Domino’s Pizza.
