Why are you at the UO?
Felt right.
Best part of college experience?
Opportunities. To meet people. To learn. To grow. To eat cheesy grillers.
What are you proud to have been a part of?
My sophomore year Casey Ronquillo, Katrina Dene and I started the NAYA Field Day in partnership with Nike N7. The event was really small but incredibly special. These last two years I have worked with some truly amazing people and it has been fun to watch it grow into something bigger. We now call it Youth Movement. I don’t think it’s actually a “movement” just yet, but its been exciting to watch our vision start to come to life. I’m excited to see where the future leaders take it.
What are some of your goals after you earn your degree?
My goal is to find strategic solutions that utilize sports to empower communities in hopes of creating a healthier, happier, more peaceful world for all of us. Sports are powerful and hold a special place in my heart. Everyone should have access to positive experiences playing the games we love starting from a young age.
What groups are you associated with?
The Warsaw Sports Business Club is my rock. I owe everything to the club and the 300 members who have empowered me to learn, grow and fail as a leader.
What positions do you hold?
I am the VP of Events and Community Outreach.
