Why are you at the UO?

I knew attending the University of Oregon would open many doors for me in the sports business field. We have many connections to highly renowned companies here that you could not find anywhere else.

How do you want to change the world?

Recently I planned a fundraiser alongside members of the Rotaract Club to raise money to purchase a Bio-Incinerator for the Jinja Childrens Hospital in Uganda. Currently, thousands of people are forced to sleep on needles, garbage and other hazardous waste. With this money, the hospital will have a safer place to throw away their hazardous materials

What has been the best part of your college experience?

I think the most rewarding part of my time here at the UO was this past weekend during the fundraiser for the Jinja Children’s Hospital. I was able to witness the amount of students who truly want to make the world a better place. I have never been more proud to be part of this university than at that very moment.

What are you proud to have been a part of at UO?

I am very proud to say that I am a member of the Rotaract Club. This club has provided me with more than just the opportunity to associate myself with people who share similar passions for helping others. I truly believe it has humbled me and provided me with a broad perspective on important world issues. I know that I appreciate the UO even more thanks to the Rotaract Club and all of the people who have shown me what selflessness and generosity truly mean.

What are some of your goals after you earn your degree?

I hope that I am able to obtain a job with a major sports business company. I also hope that I can remain involved in organizations such as Rotary International that advocate the importance of giving back to others.

What groups are you associated with on campus?

I am part of the Lundquist Honors Business Program, College Scholars Program, Rotaract Club, Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women and the Warsaw Sports Business Club

What positions do you hold in those organizations?

I am currently President Elect of the Rotaract Club and will take over as president in the Fall Quarter.
