UH Women’s Golf has added an experienced assistant coach — former Kentucky assistant coach Lucy Nunn.
Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell is entering his second year campaign with the golf program, and is ecstatic to work with Nunn this upcoming season.
“From both a player and technical perspective, she will be a tremendous asset for our program,” Chadwell said. “In recruiting, Lucy has instant credibility in the state of Texas, across the country and internationally.”
Nunn has no shortage of experience, proven by her successes in her previous three seasons with Kentucky. Since joining the Wildcats, she was able to make an immediate impact. She helped lead the school to a single-season low scoring average, along with the program’s first championship since 2009.
In 2013, Nunn led Kentucky to a pair of top-3 team finishes, including the same tournament Houston Women’s Golf made their debut.
