The Boston University men’s soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2014 season at the hands of Siena College Wednesday afternoon by the score of 1-0, snapping its two-game winning streak.
Foul troubles and a lack of offensive production plagued the Terriers (2-1) in a game where both squads tied in shots with nine apiece.
The Saints’ (2-0) sole goal of the match came from a corner kick in the 27th minute off the head of freshman Alexander Tejera.
The Terriers come home for a matchup against regional rival Brown University on Sept. 7 as part of the team’s eighth annual Terrier Tailgate.
