At the Mounds Theatre in St. Paul, spirits of the dead make Octobers come to life.
Built in 1922 as a silent film screen, the theater closed in the late ’60s. After current owner Raeann Ruth said she discovered that the theater was haunted in the early 2000s, the Mounds Theatre started hosting ”real haunted tours” on October weekends. During the tours, patrons conduct their own paranormal investigations of the landmark’s ghosts.
Tour founder Mia Nieto said the building attracts the living and the dead alike.
