Before performing in front of a packed TCF Bank Stadium on Friday, homecoming concert performers will snack on treats like Laffy Taffy candy, local root beer and mini cereal boxes.
Along with dishing out $135,000 for rapper Iggy Azalea and indie rock band Walk the Moon, the University of Minnesota will be stocking the homecoming performers’ dressing rooms with food, drinks and other oddities from their rider lists.
The University denied Walk the Moon’s booze and beer requests, which included a case of locally brewed beer and a bottle of top-shelf liquor.
