Students and professors alike have probably heard of Starbucks’ elusive “Secret Menu.” Packed with over 200 different recipes, they’d never be able to fit it all on that black board behind the front counter.
Today, we’re going to delve into the mysteries before us with Starbucks’ secret “Butterbeer Frappuccino.” Straight out of Hogsmead, this is a reference to the extremely popular drink from the “Harry Potter” series. If any fans have ever wanted to try a taste of the famous drink themselves, Starbucks has attempted to create a close replica to what you could have expected.
Here’s the recipe, incase you have to tell the barista how to make it:
1 Vanilla Bean Frappuccino
1-2 Pumps of Caramel Syrup
1-2 Pumps of Toffee Nut Syrup
1 Caramel Drizzle over top
Alternatively, Starbucks also makes a healthier version of the drink called the “Butterbeer Latte.” Here’s the ingredients for that:
Whole Milk Steamer
2-4 Pumps of Caramel Syrup
2-4 Pumps of Toffee Nut Syrup
2-4 Pumps of Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
Whipped Cream & Salted Caramel Bits
(Optional) Extra Shots of Expresso
So, if you’re like the rest of America and Starbucks is the lifeline of your morning commute, go give it a try!
