The Internet is a great resource full of dating tips and ways to improve your relationship with your significant other. But one thing we need more help with is the art of girl flirting. Ladies, we’ve all spotted a girl we immediately wanted to be friends with. You make eye contact with her during class while the try-hard in the front row asks a string of irrelevant questions, and you both smirk and throw out an eye-roll. That eye contact was the first move — the initial attraction. But where do you go from there? Luckily, we at the Clog can help you out. We’ve come up with girl flirting tips that will take your friendship to the next level.
1. Approach her after class, but make sure it’s in a casual noncreepy way. Take a little longer to put all your things in your backpack and walk out of the room at the same time as her.
2. Make a comment on something that you know you have in common, such as your undying love for your professor (or your undying hatred for the try-hard in the front row).
3. The key is to show you want to pursue the friendship further without being too forward. Ask to study together at Cafe Strada! You’ll get a new friend and a leg-up on your homework for class — now that’s what we call a win.
4. Contact is key. Get her number, and don’t feel weird about texting her. Send stupid memes — anything that you find funny, she probably does too. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship!
