– Junior quarterback Ryan Kelley of Basha High school in Chandler, Ariz. tweeted on Tuesday that he had received an offer from the Ducks.

Kelley, widely considered a pro-style pocket passer, received a four-star ranking from 247 sports. It marks the first offer the Ducks have made to a class-of-2017 quarterback.
While Kelley currently has 10 offers from other schools, he wants to attend Oregon’s game versus Washington State on Oct. 10, according to Andrew Nemec of the Oregonian/OregonLive.
“I like everything – the atmosphere up there seems great, it seems like they have great fans and I really like their coaching staff with Scott Frost,” Kelley told Nemec. I just think it’s an amazing school.”
– The University of Oregon Athletic Department committed eight secondary violations in the last school year, according to the Oregonian/OregonLive. The number is down from 14 in the previous year and will not result in any punishment from the NCAA.
– Megan Trinder, a guard for Oregon women’s basketball, will miss the entire 2015-2016 season with an ACL injury. Trinder transferred to Oregon from Northeast Community College in April of this year and was expected to compete for a starting role in head coach Kelly Graves’ lineup. She has two years of eligibility left with the Ducks.
