The Ducks’ win over the Tigers advanced their record to 11-4, and 3-1 in the Mary Nutter Classic.

The first win for the Ducks came Saturday morning when they shut down No. 20 Fresno State 9-0.

Senior pitcher Cheridan Hawkins threw 12 strikeouts over the game, and Lauren Lindvall hit two homers for the Ducks.

Oregon finished the game by the fifth inning, then headed into the second game of the day against Missouri.

Against the Tigers, the Ducks quickly fell behind 7-0.

But in the fourth inning, Oregon struck back. A standing double from Decker put the Ducks on the board.

Lindvall scored a single after a walk by Jenna Lilley, and the Ducks came closer, trailing by just two points, 5-7.

Geri Ann Glasco tied the game at seven before Missouri returned to bat.

In the seventh, Hawkins did her part with another strikeout, then the Ducks returned to the plate in the eighth to take home the 8-7 victory.

Oregon has one more game in the Mary Nutter Classic tomorrow against Oklahoma State.
