— The Oregon men’s basketball team took care of rival Washington on Sunday at Matthew Knight Arena, 86-73. It was a dominant performance in the paint for the Ducks on senior day as Elgin Cook tied a career-high in points with 26. The Ducks remain atop the Pac-12 standings heading into the final regular season weekend.

— The Oregon women’s hoops team finished out its regular season in the Bay Area this last weekend. The Ducks fell 69-42 at No. 13 Stanford on Sunday and 65-54 at Cal on Friday. If Oregon makes the NCAA Tournament, it will have to do so without Jordan Loera or Jillian Alleyne, who both suffered season-ending injuries last week.

— Austin Meek of the Register-Guard wrote this weekend on men’s basketball’s Chris Boucher, who seems “like a guy who deserves a break” in the NCAA appeals process.

— The Oregon softball team went 4-1 this weekend at the Mary Nutter Classic, including a clean sweep of Oklahoma State 7-0. The Ducks are back in action next weekend in Las Vegas.

— In its opening weekend at home, the Oregon baseball team took three of four games against Illinois State. The Ducks won on Sunday largely behind pitcher David Peterson, who tied a career-high with nine strikeouts through eight innings.

— At the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship on Saturday, the Oregon track and field team had a “successful” weekend in the eyes of coach Robert Johnson. The women won with 108 points at the meet, which is the last tune-up before the NCAA Indoor Championships.
