It is Oregon’s highest ranking in head coach Dana Altman’s tenure and  it marks first time the Ducks have been ranked this high since Feb. 3, 2007, when they were also ranked No. 9.

Oregon (23-6)(12-4) was one of four Pac-12 schools to earn a top-25 spot. Utah (13), Arizona (18) and California (25) joined them in the poll.

The Ducks, up from 13th in last week’s poll, are currently in first place in the Pac-12, just ahead of 12-5 Utah.

Oregon is coming off the heels of an 83-76 win over Washington at Matthew Knight Arena on Sunday  that sealed a perfect 18-0 home record this season. The Ducks will close out their regular season schedule at UCLA on March 2 and at USC on March 5.

A sweep in Los Angeles would earn the Ducks their first regular season Pac-12 title since 2002.
