Though the Oregon track and field team competed in two different states last weekend, they swept the Pac-12’s outdoor weekly awards on Tuesday.
Devon Allen earned the men’s track athlete of the week award and Hannah Cunliffe took the women’s track athlete of the week honor.
Allen, the redshirt sophomore, won four events last weekend when Hayward Field hosted the Oregon Relays. He first took the 200-meter dash, moving to fifth all-time in Oregon history with a time of 20.68. Allen and his Oregon teammates won the 4×100 relay on Saturday.
Allen then won both hurdle events, posting a season-best 51.32 in the 400 meter hurdles. Already the owner of the top time in the NCAA this season in the 110-hurdles, he ran a 13.48 to win.
Cunliffe, the sophomore from Federal Way, Washington, competed in three events for the Ducks at the Mt. SAC Relays in Southern California over the weekend. Cunliffe and her Duck teammates won the 4×100 relay in a school-record 42.68. That time ranks No. 3 all-time in NCAA history and is a Pac-12 record.
In the open events, Cunliffe took second in both the 100 and 200 meters. She recorded a personal-best 10.99 in the 100 meters, good for the third fastest time in Oregon history and eighth in NCAA history. That time also ranks first among NCAA athletes this outdoor season. She ran the 200 meters in 22.71, the fourth best time in NCAA competition this season.

The Ducks have this coming weekend off. Oregon will then split up for three different meets the following weekend: the Penn Relays, the OSU High Performance Meet and the Payton Jordan Invitational.
