Oregon acrobatics and tumbling’s three losses this year have now come from the Baylor Bears.
In the NCATA Finals on Tuesday night, Oregon lost to the defending champions 286.275-282.305 in Baylor’s home arena. The Bears won all six of the events against the second-seeded Ducks.
Oregon finished the season 11-3 and advanced to the NCATA Finals for the sixth consecutive season, but now have lost to Baylor in back-to-back seasons on the sport’s biggest stage.

Baylor took the win in the compulsory round (38.90-38.40). The Bears followed that up with another win in the acro round by a mark of 29.40-29.15, extending their lead to 68.300-67.550.
In the pyramid event, Baylor took another win with a 29.80-29.55 mark. That gave the host Bears a 98.100-97.100 lead going into the intermission.
Baylor extended its lead in the toss with a 29.45-29.20 win and tumbling with a 58.675-57.225 mark.
The Bears secured their second-straight national championship with a 100.05-98.78 win in the team event.
