City officials from the Falcon Heights City Council held an emergency meeting Friday afternoon, following the fatal police shooting of St. Paul man, Philando Castile.
On Wednesday night, Castile was shot by St. Anthony Police Officer Jeronimo Yanez, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension confirmed in a press release on Thursday. Castile was pronounced dead at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis on Wednesday night.
