Oregon women’s basketball player Mallory McGwire replaced injured Lexi Bando in the starting lineup for this weekend’s series against Oregon State. After being held scoreless in the first half of Friday’s game against the Beavers, McGwire put together a solid second-half performance, which continued during Sunday’s game against Oregon State. Her efforts helped the team end its 14-game Civil War losing streak to its in-state rival.

Former Washington Huskies linebacker Cort Dennison is the new outside linebacker’s coach for the Oregon Ducks. Dennison was part of the Louisville Cardinal coaching staff since 2014. He joins new Oregon head football coach Mario Cristobal’s staff as a replacement for Raymond Woodie, who left for Florida State with Willie Taggart.

Oregon women’s tennis picked up its first road win of the season, a 6-1 victory over the San Diego Toreros on Sunday. With the win, the Ducks are off to their best start since the 2013-14 season. Sophomore Julia Eshet played the No. 1 spot and claimed a three-set victory (7-5, 2-6, 6-2) over her opponent.
