Man injured in possible stabbing found at MacArthur BART station
An injured man was found with a possible stab wound at the MacArthur BART station late Friday night, according to BART spokesperson Alicia Trost.
BART police were alerted of a male victim who may have been stabbed about 10:30 p.m., Trost said, and officers located the victim with a wound on his back. The victim was uncooperative, however, and would not provide information to officers about how he acquired the wound.
The victim was later taken to a local hospital, according to Trost. Officers also learned that the possible stabbing occurred in Berkeley and that the victim traveled to the MacArthur BART station after being wounded.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
