Each day hosts two events: a golden hour event at 6 p.m. and a candlelight event at 8 p.m. The show has a 60-minute run time without an intermission. Unfortunately, all shows are sold out at the time of publication.

This Michigan Tech music series event takes place at the Quincy Mine 1918 Hoist House, location number six on the Quincy Mine location map, which can be found at quincymine.com/location-map/. The dress code for the event consists of hard hats which are required and provided, as well as close-toed shoes being recommended.

The contemporary classical music pieces at the event are all new original compositions. Some of the artists include conScience: Michigan Tech Chamber Singers, Adam Meckler on trumpet, and Justin Snyder on piano. Each concert will have a different lineup of artists, but Snyder will be playing at both candlelight events. The full list of artists and their instruments can be found at events.mtu.edu/event/mtm-newmusicinthemine-2024.
