Whether you just finished midterms or are just starting to study, you could always use a break. Here are some events happening on and around campus this week.

MONDAY, FEB. 25

John Legend
Head to Macky Monday night to see Grammy award winner John Legend speak about the public education system’s issues and organizations involved with the cause. After his talk, there will be a Q&A, and Legend will perform. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $25 for the general public.

TUESDAY, FEB. 26

FrackingSENSE
Fracking might not be the most exciting topic in the world, but it’s an important, controversial issue in Colorado right now. Check out the first FrackingSENSE discussion at 6:30 p.m. in Hale to learn more about it. 

FRIDAY, MARCH 1

Greensky Bluegrass
Head to the Fox to see Michigan-based Greensky Bluegrass. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15.50 in advance and $18 the day of the show.

Passion Pit with Matt & Kim
If you’re feeling more like some pop, Passion Pit might be more your scene. Matt & Kim will open for Passion Pit at the 1st Bank Center Friday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
