The judicial order means the ASUO Senate will have to postpone its ruling of Vanderpool’s motion to remove her from office.

One of the reasons Vanderpool motioned to remove her from office was due to how she handled the ASUO election results. Cosner is granting her petition asking the ASUO Senate if they have the ASUO constitutional right to remove a chief justice from office if they didn’t agree with how they handled a situation.

Cosner granted her petition in addition to issuing a judicial order, such that the court will have the proper amount of time to consider her opposing argument to Vanderpool’s motion.

Chief Justice Nick Schultz is recalling the court from recess early so that they can deal with the matter at hand.
