So, if you’re not burnt out from the long holiday weekend or if you simply chose to skip The xx and Disclosure while you were up north, then you’ve got options.

The xx

It feels as if The xx are everywhere these days. From headlining festivals, like Coachella and Sasquatch!, to being featured in “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack, one thing is very clear — The xx are quickly becoming a household name. And with only two full-length LPs under their belt, the young London-based trio are now enjoying quite the fame in the recent months. Their sophomore album, “Coexist,” is an emotional, heart-wrenching journey through melancholic themes, yet it boasts dance-inducing energies via the genius of production guru Jamie Smith (aka, Jamie XX).

And though the album is reserved and minimal, its intricacies and nuances take on new characteristic on stage. Whether it be the sublime, introspective “Fiction” or the gradually uplifting “Chained,” stage presence matched with the group’s live virtuosity makes The xx an unparalleled live experience.

The band performs Tues., May 28, at the McDonald Theatre, $35. Doors open at 7 p.m. Concert will begin at 8 p.m.

Disclosure

After postponing their last Eugene date, this band returns to make up for themselves. If you’re feeling the dance grooves more than you are the chill vibes of The xx, then the WOW Hall is where you want to be. The Brothers Lawrence have enjoyed a meteoric rise to success in recent months, and they’re only getting bigger as the release of their first full-length LP “Settle” draws nearer (slated for June 3). With plenty of U.S. festival appearances as well, including Ultra Music Festival, Coachella and this past weekend at the Gorge — not to mention all the international festivals they’re scheduled for this summer, it’s become clear the two UK brothers have become quite the hot commodity this year.

So, if you’re not sold on the hipster indi-electronica vibes, Disclosure will get those feet moving at a higher velocity. Considering their live shows contain live instrumentation, it’s sure to impress even the most staunch critic of the electronic dance music movement.

Disclosure performs with Jason Burns Tues., May 28, at the WOW Hall, $12 in advance, $14 at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m.
